Agricultural Promotions

The foundation of Ballyhoo Printing & Design is an agricultural background brought by Gerri and John Campbell— they’ve been in the shoes of you and your customers! Gerri was raised on two of Montana’s most respected Angus ranches, and is still very involved in her father’s registered Angus operation where she has learned cattle, the Angus business and people. They now live on John’s fourth generation family farm, raising commercial cattle, grain, hay and and a handful of sheep. It all keeps them busy, but makes each part of what they do that much more enjoyable and complete.

The catalog process . . .

The catalog season becomes VERY busy here. We schedule all catalogs according to sale date and mailing three weeks prior to sale unless preferred otherwise.

We figure a rough page count based on animals sold, the quantity of catalogs printed, and the paper desired so we have all supplies here when needed.

Our ranchers are given a “Ballyhoo Binder” that outlines getting everything ready (from AIMS details to pictures) and also tips for proofing the catalog.

Information for your catalog can be taken directly from your AIMS program, eliminating typing errors in pedigrees and numbers and making catalog proofing easier than ever. This also speeds the process along, allowing us to get you a proof even quicker. Hand-written notes and registration papers are also welcome.

Proofing is done via e-mail. We send you an Acrobat file (pdf) that you can print and put in your binder. Any changes are made and as soon as we get your “go-ahead” the catalog is put on the press.

We will mail your catalogs from Ballyhoo using your mailing list, getting the catalogs in your customer’s hands even quicker. Labels are applied as the catalogs come off the trimmer. They’re loaded into mail tubs, put directly on the mail truck and sent to your customers.
